Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site occupational health care in a clinic setting.
• Deliver clinical care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership at Medcor and client contacts.
• Document care using EMR and follow Medcor protocols.
• Participate in daily on-site clinic operations and maintain patient flow.

Medcor is looking to hire a Registered Nurse BSN on a PRN basis as needed to be an Onsite Health Nurse in our employer based occupational health clinic in Marlborough MA The work environment is in a modern global pharma facility focusing on occupational health and injuryillness management The clinic operates 1 day a week on Wednesdays Since this is on an as needed basis there are no guaranteed hours If you have the availability to pick up an occasional shift we invite you to apply The compensation for this role starts at 46hr with opportunities for higher pay based on experience The Worksite Health Nurse for Medcor will provide excellent clinical care in an occupational and urgent care health clinic The positions responsibilities also include collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor and with key contacts within the clients corporate structure

A typical day in the life of a Worksite Health Nurse

• Participate in daily operations at Medcors on site clinic
• Provide superior customer service to Medcors client and employees
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcors Evidence Based Medicine protocols known as the Medcor Care Protocols MCPs
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Pre employment and post offer screenings
• Documentation of care using state of the art EMR and other tools
• Case Management
• Medical charting
• OSHA record keeping

You Must LOVE what you do

• Have valid licensure for the position in which you are applying
• Have current CPRBLS
• Have strong computer and other technology skills navigate cell phones texting fax machines etc as well as familiarity with EMR software
• Be strong enough to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
• Possess excellent verbal written communication skills
• Have a positive and outgoing personality
• Be willing to go above and beyond just because thats who you are
• Be passionate about people and giving them the best care humanly possible
• Be able to have fun
• Its a Plus If You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
• You have relevant occupational health experience
• You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care
