Job summary

El Paso Behavioral Health System in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for our outpatient clinic, operating Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm. The RN coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the health team in accordance with the nursing process and Texas Board of Nursing standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred), Texas RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to pass a medication administration exam.

Qualifications

• This position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and Texas RN licensure.
• CPR certification is required upon hire and ability to pass a medication administration exam.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing.

Qualifications Details

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) nursing experience preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Must have current CPR certification upon hire. Successful completion of Handle With Care to include physical hold and verbal de-escalation during orientation.
