Job summary

RN Services Private Duty Care is seeking RNs for overnight, post-operative private duty care in the St. Louis area.

The role offers a $45 hr rate with a focus on compassionate, client-centered recovery under direction of the client, physician, and RN case manager. Qualified candidates are licensed RNs in Missouri with at least five years of nursing experience, proficient in IV therapy, CPR certified, and able to drive a insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN in Missouri.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience.
• Comfortable with IV therapy and IV medications.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of safety standards.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Cellphone with internet access and texting capability.
• Ability to transfer clients and perform charting accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assess client environment and determine needs under client/family direction.
• Comply with policies, HIPAA, and safety standards.
• Act as liaison between client and health care professionals.
• Maintain timely reports and charting with accuracy.
• Respond to medical/situational emergencies with sound judgment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

RN Services Private Duty Care- Overnight shift

$45 hr

RN Services is a locally owned and managed company in the St Louis area for over 28 years. We service high-end clients with post-operative surgical and post-operative cosmetic care, and are seeking individuals to assist with their successful recovery. A compassionate, dependable, team-oriented RN to provide private care under the direction of the client, physician, and RN case manager.

Currently staffing RNs with availability for OVERNIGHT SHIFTS

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and is currently licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri with working knowledge of professional standards and principles.




• Minimum of five years of nursing experience




• Current experience and Comfortable with IVs / IV therapy




• Complies with all state and local regulations and accreditation standards, including current CPR certification.




• Licensed driver and adheres to RNS’ Vehicle Safety Program.




• A vehicle that is insured and is in good working order.




• Cellphone with Internet and texting capabilities.




• Access to RNS’s email.




• Complete all physical and mental demands, which may include, but not be limited to the following: the ability to transfer clients, carry supplies, stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and speak effectively. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range..

Responsibilities and Required Skills/Abilities

• Under the direction of the client/client's family, assesses environment and determines and records the client's needs. Continually work with the client and physician to evaluate the effects of care given/regularly reevaluate the client's needs.




• Complies with RNS’ policies and procedures, including standards of conduct and work ethics, dress code, and HIPAA.




• Serves as a liaison between the client and other health care professionals.




• Has excellent writing and charting skills and prepares reports promptly.




• Possesses ingenuity to handle medical and situational emergencies.




• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
