Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs; suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaints.
• Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems.
• Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary.
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan.
