Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide and facilitate competent health care for patients and families in the area of practice. You will review orders, dispense samples per policy, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

You will lead quality improvement initiatives, educate patients on health and wellness, perform nurse visits and in-office triage, and coordinate tests with hospital departments while observing standard precautions.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active license in Illinois
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• College Diploma in Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Dispense sample drugs per policy and log the activity
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation of care
• Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups

• Notify patients of test results

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days
• College Diploma in Nursing
