Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking a registered nurse for Preop/PACU, offering after-hours shifts and overnight care. You will support preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding/recovery duties for a diverse surgical patient population.

RN - Preop/Pacu
Join our experienced Preop/PACU team and care for a diverse surgical patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Preop/PACU RN, you’ll provide preoperative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and holding/recovery care, including care for surgical patients requiring an overnight stay. You’ll have the opportunity to use a broad range of nursing skills while managing individualized patient needs, including IV antibiotics and fluids, insulin infusions, blood pressure management, and other specialized therapies. You’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and multiple specialties to coordinate safe, high-quality patient care.
This is an excellent role for someone who likes a fast-paced environment and wants to keep their skills sharp. No two days are the same in Preop/Pacu as your nursing tasks will vary with the tailored needs of your patients.
