Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is actively seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on professional perianesthesia nursing care across age groups and applying the nursing process to plan and deliver care.

Qualified candidates will hold an Arizona RN license, BLS, and can obtain ACLS/PALS within 90 days. PACU/CCU/ER experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU responsibilities include:

• Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.


• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.


• Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.


• May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.


• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.


• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona


• Current BLS certification


• Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of employment.


• Ability to relate and work effectively with others


• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.


• Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.

Benefits:

• Pay: $38.00 - $50.00/hour, depending on years of experience
