Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, educate and evaluate patient care within the outpatient surgery setting. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Education: Nursing Degree required; Licensure as a Missouri RN with current BLS certification (or completion during orientation) is required. Experience: Outpatient surgery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree Required.
• Experience: Previous Outpatient Surgery Experience preferred.
• Licensure: Missouri RN license required; BLS certification required (or will be completed during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, educate and evaluate a designated group of patients in accordance with Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies.
• Manage all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education:Nursing Degree Required

Experience: Previous Outpatient Surgery Experience preferred

Licensure:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.Current certification ina BasicLife Supportrequiredor course will need to be completed during orientation classes, prior to working on the nursing divisions.
