Job summary

Trinity Health Brighton is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical Services in Brighton/Livingston. You will join a 33-bay PreOp/PACU and 8 operating rooms, providing care from preoperative through recovery with a Robotic Center of Excellence.

Open Monday to Friday with weekend on-call; multiple shift options and low nurse-to-patient ratios. Competitive benefits begin Day One, with a comprehensive medical/dental/vision package and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

Graduation from accredited nursing program.
BSN within five years of hire or transfer to RN role.
Current Michigan Nursing License
BLS

Responsibilities

Assess patients holistically across physical, psychosocial, age, culture and spiritual factors.
Demonstrate critical thinking by analyzing information and responding to patient needs.
Develop, implement, evaluate and revise an individualized care plan using evidence-based practices.
Identify education needs and deliver teaching plans with teach-back to ensure learning.
Create an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
Communicate patient status and plan during rounds and handoffs.
Maintain rapport, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with other disciplines.
