Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to consistently assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a collaborative setting.

The role emphasizes coordinating care with the healthcare team, maintaining standards, and contributing to patient outcomes. A nursing license in Georgia and BCLS are required; sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; New Graduates eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia licensure required with current license.
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
