Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive patient care from birth through the lifecycle. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while aligning with organizational policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care activities and upholding standards of practice with accountability and professional growth in a busy hospital environment in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required; hospital experience preferred; 1 year for PRN positions preferred.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
