Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time daytime schedule (7:45 am - 6:15 pm). A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates. The role requires nursing qualification and Georgia RN licensure with BLS, with surgical services experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Previous experience in surgical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff.
