Job summary

McLaren Health Care, headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks a Registered Nurse for Pre Admission Testing. You will coordinate nursing care for monitored patients pre-surgery, including cardiac monitoring and data collection, while ensuring patient privacy and safety.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, systematic assessment of patients, and accurate documentation. Requires nursing diploma, Michigan license, BLS; ACLS within 3 months of hire; PACU/OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed State of Michigan.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Previous experience as med/surg, critical or PACU staff nurse.

Responsibilities

• Performs purposeful hourly rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs and Possessions.
• Systematically and continuously assesses patients’ condition.
• Assures that the data is collected, documented, and communicated.
