Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Inpatient team. This full-time day-shift role offers three 12-hour shifts (7-7) per week with rotating weekends and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

You will care for patients in fast-paced units with a 1:5 ratio in Urology, Colon, and Rectal services, supported by tenured staff and ERAS. Requires accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, and 1 year Med/Surg/Tele experience.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg/Tele RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Surgical Inpatient unit with 1:5 patient ratio.
• Work in fast-paced environment with mentored staff on a 35-bed unit.
• Participate in ERAS program and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Rotate three 12-hour day shifts per week (7-7) with weekends.

• Please note this is a Surgical Inpatient role and not a Perioperative role.
