Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our growing and expanding PICU, as we continue construction of The Hoops Family Children's Hospital. The RN is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising staff, coordinating care for a group of patients, and consulting with the health care team.

Position reports to the Nurse Manager; shift and pay rate are determined per labor agreement. The hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in WV required.
• Maintains CEUs for licensure.
• Must maintain CPR.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.

The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager. The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RNlicense in WVrequired.
• Maintains CEUs for licensure.
• Must maintain CPR.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
