Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a RN specialized in PICC placements in Bethesda, MD. The role requires mid-line/PICC placement expertise with ICU or ER background and potential infusion experience. A valid RN license is required; PICC certification is preferred.

The position involves ultrasound-guided vascular access, patient assessment, and coordination of care, with on-call duties during weekends/holidays as needed. 13-week assignment, shifts Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's need for placement of a vascular access device.
• Determines the appropriate type of device to place and location for placement.
• Ensures the safety of line placement.
• Acts as an expert in vascular access ultrasound guided line placement, including peripheral lines, midline catheters, and PICCs.
• Provides expert guidance to team members with the management of vascular access devices.
• Coordinates, teaches, and supervises care for a group of patients usually in the home setting.
• Participates in troubleshooting vascular access issues.
• Availability for on-call coverage during weekends and holidays as needed.

License: Valid driver's license and current auto insurance, working vehicle
