CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL is seeking an RN for a perioperative float role. You will demonstrate nursing skills, administer medications, and contribute to care plans across units while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an active Illinois RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and BLS within 30 days. Strong computer skills and blood-draw experience are a plus. This is a full-time position with varying shifts and call.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic computer knowledge strongly preferred.
• Prior knowledge of drawing blood preferred.

Shares responsibility with other health care disciplines. Reports to Department of Nursing Director.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS****:*** Ensures optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process.* Maintains patient records and documents to ensure an accurate record of the patient’s medical and nursing care.
