Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join a collaborative team in Bozeman, MT. The RN will assess patient needs, educate patients and families, and initiate appropriate interventions in a fast-paced care setting.

The role requires Montana RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Procedural sedation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Montana RN license and active licensure to practice in Montana.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• PALS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Competence in modified primary nursing.
• Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire.

Job description

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the healthcare team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Required

Minimum Qualifications

• Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within sixty (60) days of start date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within sixty (60) days of start date.
• 1 year acute care experience
• Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
• Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire

Preferred

• Procedural sedation experience

Schedule Requirements

• This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
• The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
