Job summary

Catholic Health Services is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties. You will collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and ward satisfaction.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with 1+ year OR experience and on-call coverage for 24 hours. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
• Certifications: BLS for all RNs; ACLS for perioperative areas; PALS for ED and PACU.
• 1+ Years of Operating Room RN experience.

Our Operating Room (OR) RNs:

• Circulate and scrub into a variety of surgical specialties
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to surgeons, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What you'll bring:

• Associates in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State
• Certifications: BLS required for all RNs; ACLS required for all Perioperative areas (Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, OR, Endoscopy), ED, S Unit and all critical care areas; PALS required for ED and PACU.
• 1+ Years of Operating Room RN experience

All shifts require on-call coverage to ensure 24 hour coverage in the O.R.

Salary Range

USD $61.94 - USD $61.94 /Hr.
