Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated staff nurse to deliver holistic, patient-centered care across the lifecycle. You’ll work with a collaborative team, apply evidence-based nursing processes, and support exceptional patient outcomes in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and bonus consideration for a bachelor’s degree and prior hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred
• RN license Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure current in Georgia required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty may be required if applicable

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Responsibilities:

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
