Job summary

Professional Case Management (PCM) is seeking Certified Mobile Research Nurses (CMRN) for per diem/PRN roles in Texas to schedule and complete mobile visits for study participants. The CMRN collaborates with Clinical Project Managers and site staff to arrange visits and submit source documentation.

The role requires RN licensure, 2+ years of RN experience, phlebotomy skills, ECG capability, and the ability to document patient records accurately, with visits during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as an RN
• Two years' experience in starting and performing phlebotomy/peripheral blood draw, IVs and injections (recent preferred)
• One year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and urine pregnancy tests
• Current, unrestricted RN license in state(s) of practice
• CPR certification and TB testing up to date

Responsibilities

• Set appointments within visitation windows for mobile visits
• Perform blood and urine collection and processing
• Conduct 12-lead ECGs and full physical exams
• Confirm caregiver completion of required Clinical Outcome Assessments
• Document medical history and medication charts accurately
• Coordinate with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel

Job Overview

Make a Difference on Your Own Schedule and Terms! The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You'll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

Key Duties

We are looking for CMRNs to visit a Pediatric population (ages 3+) who can perform the following skills during a mobile visit:

• Blood and urine specimen collection and processing
• IP management and drop off
• 12-lead safety ECG
• Full Physical Exam
• Confirm caregiver completion of required Clinical Outcome Assessments
• Visits must begin at an early timepoint within standard business hours

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• An ability to speak other languages

Compensation

Standard Rate: $55.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
