Job summary

EmVenio is seeking a Certified Mobile Research Nurse (RN) for a per diem/PRN role in the Chicago area. You will set appointments within visitation windows to complete mobile visits for study participants, working with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to ensure visits occur and documentation is accurate.

Qualifications include an RN license in good standing, at least 2 years of RN experience, phlebotomy and IV/SC injection experience, and current CPR and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• Two (2) years' experience in phlebotomy/peripheral blood draw, IVs, and subcutaneous injections (last practice within 6 months preferred).
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Skilled at maintaining accurate patient records with medical history and medication charting.
• CPR certification must be current.
• TB test current.

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You’ll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

Skills

We are looking for CMRNs to visit a Pediatric to Adult population ages 0+ who can perform the following skills during a mobile visit:

• Mother and infant blood and breast milk specimen collection and processing
• Infant nutritional assessment
• Consult with Certified Lactation Consultant
• Limited Physical Assessment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• An ability to speak other languages

Standard Rate: $55.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
