Job summary

Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a Pediatric Cardiac ICU setting. The role may assume Team Leader duties during shifts and requires current Nevada RN licensure and Pediatric critical care experience.

BSN is preferred, with required BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications. This position is part of a large health system offering a broad benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Peds Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certification.
• Recent Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care Experience Required.
• 1 yr NICU, PICU or CICU experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide active nursing care using the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating).
• May assume Team Leader role for part or all of a shift.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shift

What qualifications you will need:
