Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Critical Care unit. You will assess, plan, and administer care; monitor patient responses; educate families; and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Required RN licensure and BLS; experience in critical care and proficiency with EMR systems are preferred. This role offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits through Day One coverage.

Job Description:

$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR QUALIDIED CANDIDATES

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.

Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.

• Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
