Job summary

AdventHealth Calhoun in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient education, thorough documentation, and participation in quality improvement. Requires current GA RN license, BLS, and 1+ year hospital/acute care experience; board certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Clinical nursing skills and patient care abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses with the patient, family and healthcare providers.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family and healthcare team.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes and revises plans as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.

Job Description

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts - 7am-7pm, rotating weekends

Sign on Bonus: $20,000 for eligible candidates

• 1+ prior hospital/acute care nursing experience. [Preferred]
