Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA seeks a dedicated RN for a full-time day-shift role. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and families, and document plans of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include RN license, BLS/ACLS, and an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred. 3 x 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends, with $35/hour base pay and a $15,000 sign-on bonus through the Professional Excellence Program.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Registered Nurse).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with patient and family.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely and timely.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Participates in quality improvement activities related to patient care.
• Serves as patient advocate and documents health data.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses with patient and family.

Job Description

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends, 7am-7pm

Sign on Bonus: $15,000 Professional Excellence Program: Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.
