Job summary

Medical City Weatherford, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with medical providers, assist pre- and post-operative patients, and advocate for patients to support an outstanding experience.

Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, ACLS/BLS prerequisites within 30 days, and an associate degree qualify you for this role in the Weatherford area.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.

• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications
