Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States is seeking an experienced RN for the Patient Placement Leader role to support patient flow and admissions across Fargo campuses. You will coordinate transfers, monitor bed capacity, and work with providers to ensure timely, safe care on a straight night schedule.

The role requires 3+ years inpatient nursing, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS within six months. Sign-on bonus and weekend pay premium are available. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ clinical experience required.
• Currently holds an RN license in the state practicing nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from providers and coordinate patient transfers and admissions across Fargo locations.
• Oversee patient admissions and transfers to ensure optimal bed utilization and throughput.
• Monitor real-time and projected bed capacity to support operations, including night shift.
• Mentor nursing staff to maximize proficiency in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
