Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse in Fort Smith, AR, to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes patient rights, confidentiality, and alignment with Mercy’s mission and service standards in daily duties.

Eligible full-time RNs receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and must have at least 1 year of experience, current RN licensure (state or compact), and BLS/ACLS certification or within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process and maintaining accountability for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless care and evaluate interventions.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in all interactions; align duties with Mercy’s mission and service standards.
