Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a dedicated nurse in Louisiana to join our hands-on caregiving team. You will lead care touchpoints, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain a safe environment for patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold a Louisiana nursing license and bring compassionate patient education, wound care, and infection control expertise. This role supports a dynamic hospital setting with a focus on extraordinary patient experiences.

Qualifications

Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
2+ years of experience in related area preferred.
Schedule 6:45am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday with Call.

Responsibilities

Take the lead: prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate direct patient care.
Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team regarding events or changes.
Prevent and treat wounds.
Monitor and implement infection control and environment of care requirements.
Ensure continuity of care and exceptional patient experience.
Provide patient and family education using appropriate resources.
