Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, part of Methodist Health System, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver highly professional nursing care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure patient safety, and support initiatives to improve patient experience.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, BLS certification, and 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred as stated in job description.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional certifications as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide age/developmentally appropriate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Direct and supervise assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families and document care accurately.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure timely medication administration.
• Support hospital mission and strive to improve patient experience.
