Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate changes in condition promptly.

You must hold a CT nursing license and BLS/ACLS certification, possess strong written and spoken English, and demonstrate compassionate, age-appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a Connecticut licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained during orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate, as appropriate, the patient's clinical condition and changes in response to treatment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for age-appropriate patient care.
• Promote nursing professionalism and practice under the Clinical Nurse Manager.
