UAB Medical West Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and wellness. You will educate patients and families on health management and preventive care, contributing to a safe work environment for employees and their families.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality care, coordinating with the care team, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulations.

Competenze

• Current and valid RN license in Alabama.
• BSN or equivalent nursing degree.
• BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
