Mayo Clinic is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and facilitate transitions of care across settings. The RN will support the Nursing Professional Practice Model with leadership activities, mentoring, and quality improvement efforts.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and provide direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families and manage transitions of care.
• Lead and mentor within the Nursing Professional Practice Model.
