Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice and leadership within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model.

The role requires a nursing program graduate with current RN licensure and BLS. Occasional on-call and flexible hours are expected to meet patient needs in a full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Evidence of a bachelor’s degree in nursing within five years for RN start after Apr 1, 2020.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills; ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Current RN license; maintains BLS; state licensure and/or specialty certification as required.
