Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) offering competitive pay starting at $28.00 - $50.00 per hour. RNs are required to monitor patients, perform procedures, and manage medications per physician's orders. Candidates must hold a Florida RN license, have at least one year of experience in healthcare settings, and possess excellent nursing assessment skills. Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
• AHCA level 2 fingerprinting.
• Physical within past six (6) months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine procedures and fill in patients’ charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication according to physician’s orders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Requirements

• Florida RN license
• AHCA level 2 fingerprinting
• Physical within past six (6) months
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
• Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
• Licensed driver with proof of automobile insurance
• Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
