Job summary

BASIC PURPOSE

Provides direct and indirect patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in a patient's clinical condition, including assessment, planning and implementation of patient care. Participates in departmental PI projects. Serves as clinical resource for clinical staff, providers, fellows, residents, medical students, and pharmaceutical representatives.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Certification/Licensure Requirements

Mississippi State Board of Nursing or compact state licensure as a registered nurse.

EXPERIENCE

Three years in healthcare/medical preferred.
