Job summary

IntelliResume in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team and deliver direct patient care in a hospital setting.

You will collect data, perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with the healthcare team, and document care with bar-scanning technology. The role emphasizes patient and family communication, ongoing evaluation of outcomes, and adherence to licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in NJ required by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessment independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Coordinate and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Document care at point-of-care electronically.
• Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
