Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for its Palliative Care/Med Surg unit in Johnstown, PA. The 41-bed combined unit serves both palliative and medical-surgical patients in a mission-driven environment.

Full-time, varied 12-hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotation. We offer comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• RN license required and actively licensed.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Patient Care Team's delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient's spiritual and cultural differences.
• Assess patients, participate in discharge planning, and support family education.
• Adhere to the 10 rights of medication administration and document orders.
• Collaborate with physicians during rounds and participate in process improvements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assist with staffing as needed.
