The role focuses on direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Responsibilities include promoting education for illness management and post-treatment needs, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, and developing individualized care plans with the healthcare team and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BSN preferred, ADN considered.
• Experience in critical care or Phase 1 PACU preferred; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with the healthcare team, patients and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and cultural factors.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
