Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 14-week Perioperative assignment on night shifts (12-hour shifts). Requires a valid nursing license and at least 2 years of experience in post-surgical care.

BLS and ACLS are required; perioperative or PACU certification may be preferred. The role emphasizes monitoring patients as they wake from anesthesia, managing pain, wound care, and education for patients and families, with collaboration across the care team and proper

Qualifications

• RN with a valid state nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Perioperative Nursing or Post-Anesthesia Care certification may be preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and team.

Responsabilités

• Postoperative monitoring of vital signs and recovery status.
• Assess and respond to signs of complications (bleeding, infection, respiratory issues).
• Administer prescribed medications and manage pain.
• Perform wound care and manage drains/ dressings.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in rounds/meetings.
• Document care, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
