This 13-week assignment involves working 8-hour day shifts typically starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for providing specialized pre- and post-operative care in a surgical unit that features three operating rooms and one GI procedure room. The role calls for adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic as you’ll float to nearby facilities when needed and participate in a fair rotating schedule for weekends and holidays. With your experience in pre/post surgical nursing, you’ll help ensure smooth patient transitions and optimal recovery, all while working within a supportive and professional environment.
