Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, skilled nursing care to hospitalized patients requiring acute care services.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, monitor conditions, and collaborate with physicians to develop comprehensive care plans. You will help prepare patients and families for discharge to home or appropriate ongoing care, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license.
• One or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
• CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to hospitalized patients.
• Assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor conditions.

As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, skilled nursing services to patients requiring hospitalization, guiding them toward optimal health and functional recovery.

Every day you will assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and continuously monitor patient conditions. You will collaborate seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans, always preparing patients and their families for a successful discharge, whether to home or to another setting for continued care.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for every individual.

Job Requirements

Required

• Current WA State RN license
• One (1) or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients
• CPR certification is required every two (2) years or as specified by the work
• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing

Preferred

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
