Surgery Partners, Inc in Franklin, TN seeks an RN PACU to provide nursing care in the immediate postoperative and post-anesthesia period, assess patient status, and communicate with the surgical team. The role focuses on recovery from anesthesia and ensuring safe discharge planning.
This position may supervise Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, Medical Assistants and LPNs, and reports to the Clinical Director. Strong PACU experience and active RN license are required.
Performs nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period, assessing, communicating patient status with the surgeon, physician and anesthesia providers and documenting care given in the post anesthesia care unit (PACU). Nursing care is specific based on the type of anesthesia administered and procedure or surgery performed.
