Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within the PACU/Recovery unit. You will work with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care using the nursing process.

A $18,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires with experience. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in nursing, SC licensure or compact state, and BLS; ACLS is required.

• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• Licensed RN in SC or compact state.
• ACLS and BLS required.

Minimum Training and Education: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
