Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an RN for the PACU to provide compassionate nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role functions within hospital policies and promotes professional growth and accountability.

Competitive sign-on bonus available. Education requirements include a recognized nursing program graduate with a bachelor’s degree preferred; licensure in Georgia and BCLS

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia (state licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate license) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
