Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Outpatient Surgery RN for a 13-week assignment in Napa Valley, CA. You will work on a fast-paced surgical team, providing care for endoscopy, pre-op, and PACU Phase II patients, with a focus on safe, high-quality perioperative care.

Schedule features 4×10-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri) with rotating weekday off and start times between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM depending on case volume. Napa Valley offers excellent dining, wineries, and outdoor activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience in outpatient surgery settings.
• Endoscopy, Pre-op, and PACU Phase II experience is required.
• Strong patient education and perioperative care skills.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care throughout the outpatient surgical process.
• Care for pre-op, recovery, and Phase II PACU patients.
• Assist with endoscopy procedures and perioperative workflows.
• Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and families before discharge and document care accurately.

Schedule:

Day Shift

What You'll Need

Minimum 2 years of RN experience

Recent Endoscopy experience (Required)

Experience in Pre-Op and PACU Phase II

BLS Certification

ACLS Certification

PALS Certification

Outpatient surgery and perioperative experience strongly preferred

Experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover is a plus

What You'll Do
