Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. You will use nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while aligning with hospital policies and standards.

Candidates must hold Georgia RN licensure and BCLS, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is a plus for certain shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Functions within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience
