Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patients referred by physicians, review medical, surgical, anesthesia history, and medications, and determine if pretreatment is needed. The role requires active RN licensure in the state and BLS certification.

You will provide patient education on procedures and medication management, perform duties aligned with our mission and service standards, and join a compassionate, collaborative team in a full-time facility setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing with ASN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current RN license in state and active; compact licensure acceptable.
• Basic Life Support certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients referred by physicians to ensure appropriateness and safety.
• Review medical, surgical, anesthesia history, and medications; determine pretreatment needs.
• Provide patient education on procedures and medication management.
