Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Ortho/Spine Unit at Edward Main Hospital (Naperville). Per diem, 7:00 am–7:30 pm shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires 1+ year inpatient RN experience and IL RN licensure with CPR certification.

Qualified candidates hold at least an Associate Degree in Nursing and should be prepared to complete a Bachelor’s Degree if only an ADN is held, within five years of start date. The role emphasizes critical thinking and patient-centered care.

• Requires 1+ years RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies; assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care; documents observations; delegates tasks as appropriate; functions as a team member to achieve unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: RN - Ortho/Spine Unit
• Location: Edward Main Hospital - Naperville
• Per Diem - as needed
• Hours: Days 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays

What you will need:

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Required License and/or Certification:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do:

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
